Where it goes.

  • School playgrounds

Under the play equipment and across open play space, in house colours or a game layout.

  • Parks and public play areas

One seamless surface that runs between equipment, with no tile edges to trip on.

  • Splash pads and pool surrounds

The surface is porous, so water drains through instead of pooling on top.

  • Rooftops and podium decks

Play space for residential towers, laid over the existing slab.

Three layers, poured on site.

Wet-pour is mixed and trowelled by hand on your site, so it fits any shape and leaves no joins.

  1. Wear layer

Coloured EPDM granules bound with polyurethane. This is the part you see and play on.

  2. Shock pad

Recycled black SBR rubber. Its depth is what softens a fall, so we set it to the height of the equipment above.

  3. Base

Concrete, asphalt or compacted stone, checked and levelled before anything is poured.

What you choose.

Colours
One colour or several, poured side by side. We bring the colour card to the survey.
Patterns and games
Waves, hopscotch, stepping stones, number tracks or your school logo, cut into the surface.
Thickness
Matched to the fall height of the equipment on top, and confirmed at the site survey.
Base
New or existing concrete, asphalt or compacted sub-base, prepared by our own crew.
Finish
Seamless, porous and slip-resistant, wet or dry.

From survey to first play.

  1. Survey

We measure the area, check the base and note the equipment fall heights.

  2. Design

Colours, pattern and thickness drawn up for your approval.

  3. Prepare

The base is repaired, levelled and primed.

  4. Pour

The shock pad goes down first, then the coloured wear layer, trowelled by hand.

  5. Cure and hand over

The area stays closed until it has cured, then it's ready to use.

Questions we get asked.

Does it get hot in the sun?

Every outdoor surface warms up in a UAE summer. Lighter colours stay cooler than dark ones, and a shade sail over the play area makes the biggest difference. Shade is what our group has built since 1996, so we can plan both together.

How do we clean it?

Sweep or blow off sand and leaves, then rinse with water. Ask us before using any cleaning chemicals, as some can damage the binder.

Can it be repaired?

Yes. A damaged patch can be cut out and re-poured in a matching colour, without relaying the whole area.

Can it go over our existing surface?

Often, if the surface underneath is sound and drains well. We check this at the site survey.

Does it work for inclusive play areas?

Yes. It's seamless and level, so wheelchairs and walkers roll across it easily. We've laid playground flooring for the Rising Sun Center for Special Needs.
